FAQs

What is Gravity Labs?

Gravity Labs is a home for experimental add-ons built by the Gravity Forms team. It's where we share new ideas, fresh integrations, and tools we've wanted to put in your hands - often earlier than we could through our official roadmap.

What makes Gravity Labs different?

Gravity Labs is where we get to explore. It's a place for new ideas, fresh integrations, and useful tools that push beyond our official add-on lineup. Some experiments may become official products. Others may simply solve a problem for a niche audience. Either way, we're excited to share them.

What's the difference between Gravity Labs add-ons and official Gravity Forms add-ons?

Gravity Labs add-ons are experimental. While they're built by the Gravity Forms team and installed like any other add-on, they sit outside our officially supported add-on suite.

Why are these add-ons experimental?

Gravity Labs gives us room to explore ideas, test new integrations, and share useful tools with our community faster than our standard product process allows. It helps us learn what people actually use and what they want us to build next.

Can a Gravity Labs add-on become an official add-on?

Yes. Some Labs add-ons may eventually become part of our official add-on lineup. The add-ons that resonate most with our community help shape what we build next.

How often are new add-ons added?

There's no fixed schedule. We add new experiments as they're ready, so check back regularly to see what's new.

Can Gravity Labs add-ons change over time?

Yes. Because they're experimental, Labs add-ons may receive significant updates, change direction, or be retired based on feedback, adoption, and what we learn from the community.

Can I suggest an idea for Gravity Labs?

Absolutely. Gravity Labs exists to explore new possibilities, and your feedback often inspires future experiments. If there's something you'd like us to try, let us know. To share your Labs ideas and feedback with the Gravity team, check out our community forum or visit our Labs feedback page.

Why did you create Gravity Labs?

Gravity Labs gives us room to share more of what we're building. Ideas, integrations, and experiments don't always fit neatly into an official product roadmap, but that doesn't mean they're not worth trying. Labs lets us put those ideas in your hands sooner and learn what resonates with our community.

Are Gravity Labs add-ons free?

Yes. All Gravity Labs add-ons are available at no additional cost with a valid Gravity Forms Basic, Pro, Elite, or Nonprofit license.

Are Gravity Labs add-ons officially supported?

No. Gravity Labs add-ons are outside our standard support offering. Because they're experimental, we don't provide the same level of support, maintenance, or long-term guarantees as we do for officially supported add-ons.

Are Gravity Labs add-ons safe to use?

Labs add-ons are built by the Gravity Forms team, but because they're experimental, they may change, evolve, or be retired over time. We recommend evaluating them and testing them on non-production environments before installing them on production sites or using them in mission-critical workflows.

Will all Gravity Labs add-ons become official products?

No. Some ideas may grow into officially supported add-ons, while others may remain experimental or be retired. Gravity Labs is designed to help us learn which ideas provide the most value.

How do I install a Gravity Labs add-on?

Gravity Labs add-ons install like any other Gravity Forms add-on. Simply download the add-on, then upload and activate it on any site using an existing Gravity Forms Basic, Pro, Elite, or Nonprofit license.

How can I share feedback?

We'd love to hear from you. Your feedback helps us understand what works, what doesn't, and what ideas are worth pursuing further. The ideas that resonate with our community help shape what we build next.

What kind of feedback are you looking for?

We're interested in how you're using Labs add-ons, what problems they solve, what you'd like improved, and what you'd like to see us experiment with next.

Labs is included with every Gravity Forms license.
